Shari gets everyone involved in this interactive workshop. She tells-it-like-it-is in a best friend kind of way, sharing practical image and style advice for all shapes and sizes. Uplifting, engaging and off-the-wall fun, Shari's passion for fashion will leave you wanting more.

  • fashion tips that make you look slimmer, feel more confident, and inspire you to be happy about who you are! 

Workshops are 45 minutes to one hour but typically extend longer depending on the time available.

What Not to Wear - part two

If Clothes Could Talk 

This second part of What Not to Wear was created in response to requests from those who attended the first.  

 

Modesty has taken a back seat in fashion for years.  What's a mother of four to do?  Shari raises the bar on dressing modestly and how 'what we wear' says volumes about who we are.  "You were innocent until you came to this event", says Shari, "but, now you know!" 

 

This topic can be modified to stand alone or used as a part two in a series. As a 'part two' you'll also learn:

  • in depth information on body types and "illusion" dressing.

  • how to choose the right jeans; high rise vs. low rise - straight leg vs. boot cut. 

  • how to "shape up" with the right undergarments. 

  • how to "Look Like a Million" without spending it - practical help for a terrific yet economical wardrobe.

The Real Beauty Retreat

“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”  Genesis 1:27

 

When God creates woman, she is a reflection of the Lord's glory. The Real Beauty Retreat is a chance for women of all ages to get together and celebrate each other! The weekend begins with a Modest is Hottest Fashion Show on Friday evening and a What Not to Wear segment for girls and teens focused on the 5 B’s of Modesty.  Moms and daughters get a chance to connect at a deeper level with a “heart message” for all.

 

Saturday is for all women (excluding young girls and teens) and is an all–day conference connecting inner and outer beauty in a fun-filled manner. This is an inviting atmosphere for not only the sold-out believer, but the un-churched as well.

The fashion show and workshop takes two to three hours and may be combined with a women's session on What Not to Wear as well as other breakouts for an unforgettable retreat weekend for mothers and daughters.
