Wardrobe Strategies

How many outfits do you have in your closet right now? Or perhaps more importantly, how many do you actually wear? If you're like most women, some of the clothes work and some don't. In the end, you may have a lot of clothes...but only a few things you actually wear.

Image Tips

  • Celebrate yourself! Don’t compare yourself with others. You are unique.
Define your style, and continue to refine it over time.

  • Your fashion DNA is what you love, what makes you comfortable, and what you feel expresses you. Stay true to this, and the wardrobe will follow.

  • Great accessories complete an outfit.

  • Always look at your back view in the mirror.

Wardrobe Strategies

  • Understand yourself: your body type, proportions, best silhouettes and colors. Know what is flattering, and do not settle for less.

  • Insist on fit. When shopping, get alterations then and there if possible. If not; find a fitter. Alterations are the rule, not the exception. The most wonderful garment ever created won’t look good if it doesn’t fit.

  • Be honest with yourself about your size and buy the correct one. If you don't like the size you need ... cut out the label.

  • Take it one step at a time. Don’t feel overwhelmed. Remember, a wardrobe is built over time, not overnight.
